For my VIS 207 class, I was assigned to design a scroll story based on an event of my choosing, with a focus on creating a visually engaging experience. I chose Chicago’s annual ZooLights event and developed the visual direction and layout for a series of slides that guide viewers through the event.
The scroll story highlights the return of ZooLights, important dates, seasonal characters, and a helpful map of the zoo. I focused on combining festive imagery with clear information to create a cohesive and easy-to-follow experience. My goal was to capture the excitement and magic of ZooLights while making the event information visually appealing and accessible to viewers.
